Located in Central Pennsylvania near State College and Altoona, Camp Blue Diamond is a year round Christian camp and retreat center affiliated with the Middle PA District of the Church of the Brethren. Located within Rothrock State Forest, CBD is 238 acres of hemlock, pine and oak forest, with a clean & clear stream fed lake running through the center of the property.

During June & July, CBD offers sixteen coed residential and adventure camps for children and youth ages 5 - 18. Parents and Grandparents are invited to attend Kiddie Camp with their 5 or 6 year old, and adults can sign up for the five day long Bike Adventure, which is open to anyone grades 7 and above.

Registration and Scholarship Forms for Summer Camp 2013 are now available, as well as Online Registration. Applications for summer employment are now available too. Camp Blue Diamond is a member of the Church of the Brethren's Outdoor Ministries Association and is fully accredited by the American Camp Association (ACA).

In August, CBD hosts the two week long Centre County Law Enforcement's Camp Cadet program. The first week is open to Junior High age girls and the second to boys. At Camp Cadet, campers learn about law enforcement and experience a wide variety of related activities. During April, May, September and October, Camp Blue Diamond is the home of Shaver's Creek Outdoor School, an environmental and experiential education program of Penn State University. Each week about fifty to seventy fourth, fifth or sixth grade students learn about Pennsylvania wildlife, pioneer history and how to protect the environment. Camp Blue Diamond has a wide variety of modern Lodges, cabins, pavilions and a fifty site RV & tent campground available to family, church, school and not-for-profit groups for rental throughout the year. Camp Blue Diamond is a restful, Christian retreat center that can accommodate up to 150 guests. Alcoholic beverages, smoking and motorized recreational vehicles (ATV's, Jet Skis) are not permitted. Pets are allowed only in the family campground.

The Mission of Camp Blue Diamond is to develop and promote programs which provide Christian education, growth in faith, leadership development and stewardship of natural resources for the churches of the Middle District PA Church of the Brethren, and to develop and promote a rental facility providing environmental aesthetics and a warm Christian Spirit in which churches, schools, organizations, groups, families and individuals can retreat for spiritual, educational and physical development.
